Help Tell the Story of Eminent Domain Abuse
The Battle for Brooklyn needs your help!
You’re familiar with Daniel Goldstein’s long-fought battle to save his home and community in Brooklyn. Daniel may have lost his home, but he is still fighting against eminent domain abuse in New York.
And he needs your help to tell his story.
Battle for Brooklyn, the documentary that tells how developer Bruce Ratner was able to bulldoze homes and businesses in Daniel’s neighborhood in order to replace them with luxury condos and a basketball arena, needs contributions from concerned property owners like you. Any size donation (tax-deductible!) will help the producers tell Daniel’s story—a story that so many of you have lived and that is so desperate to be told.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently announced that Battle for Brooklyn is one of 15 documentaries selected out of 124 documentaries that qualified to compete for the prestigious award. It is sure to be a tremendous resource in the fight against the unholy alliance of tax-hungry governments and land-hungry developers nationwide. Any amount will be appreciated and no donation is too small. Let Daniel know you stand behind him in his fight against eminent domain abuse.
